Overview of Security Council Letters
This letter enclosed a communiqué of the 24 October 2012 meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council urging the Security Council to adopt a resolution authorising the deployment of an African-led international force, as well as a report of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission stressing the efforts of the international community to address the crisis in Mali.
