Overview of Secretary-General's Reports
This report on the implementation of resolution 1701 covered the reporting period from 29 June to 30 October 2012. It welcomed the “general calm” that prevails in UNIFIL’s area of operations but also drew attention to deliberate attempts to destabilise Lebanon and the lack of progress towards a permanent ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
