Overview of Security Council Presidential Statements
This was a presidential statement on the Sahel that covered the broad array of challenges facing the region, including terrorism and underlying socio-economic problems. It also encouraged close coordination between the Secretary-General's Special Envoy for the Sahel and the Secretary-General's Special Representatives for West and Central Africa.
