Overview of Security Council Meeting Records
The Council passed a resolution extending the mandate of MINURSO for a year and supporting the Secretary-General's request for an additional 15 military observers, within existing resources. Two members voted against (Uruguay and Venezuela), and three abstained (Angola, New Zealand and Russia).
