Overview of Security Council Meeting Records
Tarek Mitri, the new Special Representative and head of UNSMIL, briefed the Council via video link from Tripoli on recent developments, including the October violence in Bani Walid and the formation of the new government. Ambassador Jose Filipe Moraes Cabral (Portugal), chair of the Libya Sanctions Committee, presented the Committee's seventh report.
