Overview of Security Council Meeting Records
Special Coordinator Robert Serry briefed the Council at its quarterly open debate and reiterated the need for “concerted action…to salvage the two-state solution”, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki participated at what was the first time the observer mission of Palestine addressed the Council as a state since the General Assembly conferred non-member state status to Palestine on 29 November.
