Overview of Security Council Meeting Records
This was a meeting on the human rights situation in the DPRK, with briefings by High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein and Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman. China asked for a vote on the agenda which led to a procedural vote. The outcome of the vote was four against - China, Russia, Angola and Venezuala- two abstentions - Chad and Nigeria, and nine in favour.
