Overview of Security Council Meeting Records
The Council voted on but failed to adopt two competing draft resolutions on the situation in Gaza and how to protect Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The first, a Kuwaiti draft, was vetoed by the US. The second, a US draft, got a sole affirmative vote from the US.
