22 May 2014 S/PV.7180 This was the meeting record of the veto by China and Russia of draft resolution S/2014/348 referring Syria to the ICC.
22 February 2014 S/PV.7116 This was the unanimous adoption of resolution 2139 on humanitarian access, co-sponsored by Australia, France, Jordan, Korea, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the UK and the US.
25 October 2013 S/PV.7049 The head of OCHA, Valerie Amos, briefed on implementation of the presidential statement on humanitarian access in Syria (S/PRST/2013/15). Amos expressed deep disappointment that access had not improved and there had been no major breakthrough in getting the Syrian government to lift bureaucratic impediments and other obstacles.
20 August 2013 S/PV.7020 The Council held a briefing and consultations on the situation in the Middle East.
16 July 2013 S/PV.7000 This was a public briefing on the humanitarian situation in Syria by OCHA, UNHCR and UNHCHR. Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey also participated.
18 April 2013 S/PV.6949 The Council received briefings on the humanitarian situation in Syria from Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos, High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zainab Bangura, and Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict Leila Zerrougui .
26 September 2012 S/PV.6841 A high-level meeting on the Middle East and enhancing cooperation between the Arab League and the UN. The Council was briefed by the Secretaries-General of the UN and the Arab League.
30 August 2012 S/PV.6826 France, as president of the Council in August 2012, presided over this meeting on the humanitarian situation in Syria. The Council was briefed by Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson and High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres. Foreign Ministers from Jordan and Turkey as well as ministers from Iraq and Lebanon also participated.

4 October 2011 S/PV.6627 This was the veto of the draft resolution on Syria (S/2011/612) by Russia and China with abstentions by Brazil, India, Lebanon and South Africa.
