22 December 2008 S/RES/1859 This resolution extended the arrangements for the Development Fund for Iraq (DFI) and the International Advisory and Monitoring Board (IAMB) until 31 December 2009 with a review by 15 June.
22 December 2008 S/RES/1857 This resolution renewed the sanctions regime and the mandate of the Group of Experts until 30 November 2009. The resolution expands the mandate of the Committee to include a regular review of designated individuals and entities and to promulgate guidelines. Sanctions were expanded to target individuals impeding humanitarian assistance or supporting armed groups operating in eastern DRC through illicit trade of natural resources.
22 December 2008 S/RES/1858 This resolution extended the mandate of BINUB until 31 December 2009.
19 December 2008 S/RES/1854 This resolution renewed the sanctions regime for Liberia for a further 12 months and also extended the mandate of the panel of experts that monitors implementation of the regime until 20 December.
19 December 2008 S/RES/1855 This resolution appointed ad litem judges to the ICTR.
19 December 2008 S/RES/1853 This resolution renewed the mandate of the Monitoring Group tasked with monitoring the sanctions regime for Somalia for 12 months.
17 December 2008 S/RES/1852 This resolution extended UNIIIC’s mandate until 28 February.
